That is the whole of it. No hidden line items, and nothing that changes because you had a busy quarter.
New labels, and existing labels with extensive changes, are priced separately from the subscription — because a person does the QC on every one of them.
We do not believe every conversion should cost the same. Complexity varies enormously from one label to the next, and complexity is what determines the effort. Conversion of a simpler label should cost less. One-size-fits-all pricing means somebody is always subsidising somebody else, and it is usually the customer with the straightforward portfolio paying for the one with the complicated one. This does not sound like a fair deal for any customer.
- Complexity. A 250-page label with a hundred tables and a Medication Guide is fundamentally a different task than converting a 30-page label with a handful of tables and no Instructions for Use. We price based on the level of effort we need to spend to QC the final label before we internally approve it and turn it around
- Turnaround. Standard is 2 business days. If something is urgent and we need to drop everything else for it, we can turn it around in 1 day or faster — that costs more, and we will tell you exactly how much before we start
